Welcome packs can use a variety of different formats. Often, businesses decide to use an A4 folder as the basis for their welcome pack and then inserts such as a welcome letter, company description or brochure, annual report, product leaflets, etc. The great thing about this flexible format is that you can change the content of one insert without having to have every item reprinted. This can be much more cost effective that a single welcome brochure. I can help by writing each and every component of a welcome pack. Just contact me to discuss what you need.
If you represent a university, college or school and need copywriting support for your prospectus, do get in touch. I began my career as a copywriter at Nottingham Trent University and have written a number of postgraduate, undergraduate, international, further education, secondary and independent school prospectuses and marketing materials. I understand that the language needs to be warm, reassuring and informative.

Despite the popularity of enewsletters, printed newsletters can still be an excellent tool for customer engagement and communication. You may just decide to send out a printed newsletter once a month or once a quarter, for example, to save on print costs. It really depends on what you the newsletter to achieve. I work with a number of clients to produce regular newsletters – this sometimes includes spending a day or two on site to conduct interviews before drafting the copy. Magazine articles and editorial opportunities can be a great way to increase your exposure and build your reputation as an expert in your field. Sometimes you may have the knowledge but lack confidence when it comes to communicating your ideas in print. This is where I can help. I can ghostwrite or edit your article on your behalf, working from the information you give me to create a readable, informative and compelling article that fits the brief and word count. Straplines, brand and company names
If you’re searching for the right company name or tag line but you just haven’t had that elusive ‘a-ha!’ moment, I can help you. I will usually ask you to fill out a briefing form, find out who your ideal client is, as well as what themes and ideas you do and don’t like. I will then brainstorm as many ideas as possible based around the areas highlighted by your brief. You can narrow down ideas that are close to what you want and I can then work on these. Each process tends to be slightly different but the end result is the same – a great company name and tag line that sums up your business!

Copyediting & proofreading
If you have written some copy for print or online and feel it would benefit from an expert eye, I can offer you different levels of support. Depending on your needs, I can extensively check and edit your copy, or just proofread it for grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. This is an important part of the copywriting process, especially as it often takes a pair of fresh eyes to spot errors, inconsistencies or strange phrases. If nothing else, I always recommend that you read your copy with fresh eyes because it’s amazing what you spot 24 hours after walking away from a piece of writing.
